Community Guidelines

Closetify is a place to build, style, organize, and share your wardrobe while discovering inspiration from people whose style you admire. These guidelines help keep Closetify welcoming, safe, creative, and focused on fashion.
These guidelines apply to all content and interactions on Closetify, including boards, posts, comments, profiles, usernames, messages, and any other user-generated content.
By using Closetify's social features, you agree to follow these Guidelines in addition to our Terms of Service.
1. Be Authentic
- Post your own content whenever possible.
- Share your own closet, outfits, boards, and style inspiration. Do not claim ownership of someone else's photos, content, or creative work.
- Be honest about what you're sharing. Do not intentionally misrepresent products, brands, prices, or item details.
- Do not impersonate another person, brand, creator, organization, or public figure through your username, profile photo, bio, content, or other account information.
2. Keep It About Fashion & Style
Closetify exists for clothing, style, outfits, accessories, fashion inspiration, and wardrobe organization.
Do not use Closetify primarily to post:
- Unrelated content
- Spam
- Engagement bait
- Referral schemes
- Third-party advertisements
- Content designed solely to redirect users elsewhere
Repetitive, low-quality, or mass-posted content intended to manipulate visibility, likes, saves, followers, or recommendations may be removed.
3. Respect People
Treat other users with respect. The following are not allowed:
- Harassment
- Bullying
- Hate speech
- Threats
- Discrimination
- Personal attacks
- Intimidation
- Encouraging violence
- Encouraging self-harm
Do not attack individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, age, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristics.
Do not post sexually explicit, exploitative, pornographic, or otherwise inappropriate content.
Content involving minors in a sexualized or exploitative manner is strictly prohibited and may be reported to law enforcement where appropriate.
Respect the privacy of others. Do not share personal information, private images, addresses, phone numbers, financial information, or other sensitive data without consent.
To help keep Closetify focused on clothing and style, certain uploads may be limited, rejected, or moderated if they prominently feature faces, people, or non-fashion content.
4. Respect Ownership & Authenticity
Respect intellectual property rights. Do not upload content that infringes another person's copyright, trademark, publicity rights, or other legal rights.
If a board, outfit, or styling concept is heavily inspired by another creator, providing credit is encouraged.
Do not use Closetify to promote, advertise, distribute, or sell counterfeit, replica, or otherwise infringing products.
We respond to valid copyright and intellectual-property complaints as described in our Terms of Service.
5. Keep the Community Safe
Do not use bots, fake accounts, automation, or coordinated activity to manipulate engagement metrics such as likes, saves, followers, comments, or visibility.
Do not use Closetify to scam, mislead, phish, distribute malware, or deceive other users.
Do not attempt to exploit vulnerabilities, interfere with the operation of the Service, or gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.
Do not use Smart Buy links, comments, profiles, boards, or posts to direct users to fraudulent or malicious websites.
No illegal or regulated goods. Do not use Closetify to promote, advertise, sell, or facilitate the sale of illegal products, stolen goods, weapons, drugs, counterfeit documents, or other prohibited items.
If you encounter content that violates these Guidelines, report it through the available reporting tools instead of retaliating or organizing harassment campaigns.
6. Enforcement
We may remove content, reduce visibility, limit features, restrict accounts, suspend accounts, or permanently terminate accounts that violate these Guidelines.
Some moderation systems are AI-assisted and may occasionally make mistakes. If your content is removed or your account is restricted and you believe the action was incorrect, you may appeal through our support process.
Repeated or serious violations may result in immediate account termination.
We reserve the right to remove content or restrict accounts that negatively affect the safety, integrity, operation, or community experience of the Service, even if the behavior is not specifically described in these Guidelines.
7. AI-Assisted Features
Closetify includes AI-powered features such as clothing classification, outfit suggestions, Smart Buy analysis, and other recommendation systems.
These tools are intended to assist users and are not endorsements, guarantees, or professional advice.
AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or incorrect.
Users remain responsible for how they use the Service and for any content they publish.
8. Reporting & Support
If you believe content violates these Guidelines, infringes your rights, or creates a safety concern, please report it through the app or contact us directly.
